About the Author
The youngest of seven children, Taryn Grimes-Herbert began her acting career at the age of nine, performing in regional theaters up and down the east coast. At 18, she made her off-Broadway debut and since then has appeared on Broadway and in numerous productions on television, film, and radio. In addition to her books, workshops and public appearances, she continues to perform and is a screenwriter and award-winning producer. Ms. Grimes-Herbert is also 2010′s Woman of Achievement in the Arts for Orange County, NY.
She is currently the Executive Producer of Entertainment for UnXpected Development, LLC, a production company which she co-owns with her husband, journalist, T. Sean Herbert. And she writes 2 parenting columns for Patch.com.
Dr. David E. Jacobsen

Serving people during their time of need and helping them move toward healing relationships provides Dr. David E. Jacobsen with career motivation. Obtaining his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Jacobsen has served to advance best practices in child welfare working in Illinois, Connecticut, and New York. He applies his understanding of relational human development to help families overcome times of hurt. He has also invested himself in teaching and training others to understand the significance of trauma, forgiveness, and recovery for each individual and family. Dr. Jacobsen currently lives with his wife and six children in Orange County, NY.

Leneé Gordon’s Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology has given her the opportunity to work with children of all ages, helping them to improve their use of language, their confidence, and self-esteem. Lenee has been an amateur photographer for most of her life. Her favorite subjects are her family, children’s faces, and brand-name nastalgia. Leneé also also enjoys scrapbooking and all forms of arts and crafts.
Molly Pike-Riccardi
About the Graphic Designer
Molly Pike Riccardi is a graphic designer and layout artist operating under the name Lido Graphics.She studied art and design in the SUNY network and attended the Master’s program at RIT in Graphic Arts Publishing. Molly also creates stained glass pieces and spirit bottles as One Step Closer. She resides in New York State with her husband, son, and 2 daughters.
